This page will be updated regularly to keep you informed on the progress of the various guinea pigs that come in to our rescue
The pictures below are of 4 guinea pigs that were rescued just recently, sadly after weeks of veterinary treatment 2 lost their battle; the other 2 have now successfully been rehomed
PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES BELOW FOR THE SICK GUINEA PIGS THAT WERE RESCUED
Warning the following pictures are very graphic
Alf, dumped on a common and left to die...His skin from nose to backend and was thick and scaly and also splitting, unrecognisable as a guinea pig and very underweight and depressed.
After lots of love and treatment he is now back to the weight he should be and has almost all of his hair back, he also now has a little friend he lives with
A HUGE thank you to the RSPCA who we work with to rescue these animals,Trading Standards, Environmental Health, Pets At Home, Kennelgate, the staff at Melton Market ,Spring Farm at Trowell, also to everyone who has rehomed piggies from us and donated
